A Great Tribute to a Great Band
Tiger_Mark24 February 2002
Growing up in the 1980's, you could not help but be a Cars fan. Starting in the late 1970's and wrapping up in the early 1990's, this was one of the great bands of all time. I can think of no other band that had more influence in the 1980's, yet, the band has become a distant memory today and I don't understand why. The music is not dated and is as entertaining now as it was back then. This video does a fantastic job of letting people see just how innovative and brilliant Ocasek and the Cars were. You really get a taste of their entire exciting career. I believe that this video is a must for those millions of Cars listeners from the 1980's and for the many new potential fans that would jump on board, given the chance to hear this icon of a band. Check it out!

Wish I had been there!!

This was an awesome concert from summer of 1979. This is my only source of hearing Don't Cha Stop live!

Ric Ocasek primed The Cars to be the best band I've ever heard! The reunion interview was fun to watch too.

Listening to Ocasek talk about the night and darkness crawling into his songs is a hoot!

So was Greg Hawkes' remembrance to how drunk every one was thanks to the German hospitality!

Buy this DVD, you won't regret it!

P.S. I also liked the added keyboard solo in Since I Held You as well.

One of my favorite bands! See why

6/2/18. More like 3 1/2 stars. It was great to see one of my favorite groups playing their early hits in an intimate setting instead of a big gigantic stadium. Haven't heard them in so long, it was great to see just how good they really were. I enjoyed the interview that was included on the DVD,in which the viewer had the last chance to see Benjamin Orr before he died a few months after the interview. He looked awful (pancreatic cancer), but it was good to hear what he had to say. If you are a Cars fan, then you need to watch this!
