A different kind of animation by Klasky-Csupo

Warning: Spoilers
Klasky-Csupo is mainly known for their Nickelodeon animated series aimed at kids, but I had no idea they also produced some indie shorts aimed at mature audiences like this one.

Flying Nansen is a short by Igor Kovalyov, who had co-directed the Rugrats movie and also worked in some Nickelodeon series, and is also responsible for very surreal titles such as "Hen, His Wife."

Flying Nansen, inspired by the explorer Fridtjof Nansen, is not so much a surreal tale plot-wise, but rather in the way in which it's told: Here a Polar Bear is depicted as a creature from a bizarre dream, and dreams and reality are almost indistinguishable from each other; the very distinctive aesthetic from the Klasky-Csupo series is still present here, but with its own stylish touch, resulting in a very interesting watching experience.
