Growing up in a family of stars comes with a unique set of challenges. As Trace Cyrus discussed in a Q&a via Instagram Stories on Aug. 28, he has lots of love for his talented family, but when your sisters are Miley and Noah Cyrus, people are often quick to cast judgment.
"I love my family so much, but I think I'd be much more successful if I wasn't part of a famous family."
"I love my family so much, but I think I'd be much more successful if I wasn't part of a famous family," he wrote in response to a fan's question about being in the spotlight. "People immediately want to judge me and discredit all my hard work because of who I'm related to, but that's so far from the truth. I got a record deal without anyone from my label even knowing who I was related...

Offset and Cardi B are here to put the rumors to rest. The duo’s new music “Jealousy” rolled out on Friday, appearing to spin-off Offset’s since-deleted social media post last month in which he claimed Cardi cheated on him (she posted a clip in response). The collab samples Three 6 Mafia track “Jealous Ass Bitches.”
“I’m sellin’ prescription cocaine/She fuck with my pimpin’, my cane/I’m Michael, I’m not no Jermaine/Jealousy, that shit gon’ eat your heart out,” Offset raps in his heavy-hitting verse.

Some of the Swifties who sued Ticketmaster and Live Nation after the much-bemoaned on-sale for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour took to the U.S. District Court in Downtown Los Angeles on Monday for their suit’s first hearing. They simultaneously held a small protest to air out their frustrations over a ticketing system they say is stacked against fans.
The hearing itself was on the court’s 8:30 a.m. docket and was less than 15 minutes long, pertaining mainly to scheduling matters as the court determines whether the case...

For most artists, the likelihood of writing a major hit diminishes over time — pop success is often synonymous with youth. But at the end of January, Panic! at the Disco’s “High Hopes” was comfortably ensconced at Number Four on the Hot 100, making it the biggest hit of the band’s 14-year career.
And that may not be the most atypical feature of this hip-pop-parade-march mishmash: “High Hopes” is bizarre down to its musical skeleton. A recent report by Soundfly analyzed every song that cracked the Billboard Top 5 in 2018 and...

Just in case the word “Juniors” wasn’t a big enough clue, Dancing With the Stars‘ pint-sized spinoff offered another reminder on Sunday’s episode that these contestants are young.
In Week 2 of the ABC series, the Mirrorball hopefuls performed to songs that were released in the years they were born — years that range from the very recent 2003 to the very very recent 2008. I bet you didn’t know you’d end your weekend by feeling old, huh?
Several of the Juniors competitors who impressed the judges last week cemented their status as frontrunners on Sunday; Mandla Morris and Ariana Greenblatt were particularly strong,...

Twelve young couples took to the floor for the first episode of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” but only 10 of them made it out of premiere night. So now that you’ve seen what the contestants have to offer, who will make it all the way and who was cut down in the second week of competition? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute updates as the night progresses.
Two kid celebs were eliminated in week one: political scion Tripp Johnston (grandson of Sarah Palin) and “MasterChef Junior” champ Addison Osta Smith. Those results were half-determined by the votes of the studio audience, but Smith and Johnston were also the lowest scorers on the judges’ leaderboard, so fans in the stands may have been influenced by the input of panelists Mandy Moore, Val Chmerkovskiy and Adam Rippon.

You know how everyone makes fun of the younger “Dancing with the Stars” contestants for picking a year in, like, the last seven years — including the current year — for Most Memorable Year because they haven’t lived yet? Well, neither have the kiddies on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.”
Oh, don’t worry, they’re not doing Most Memorable Year there, which would’ve been Lol, but they are doing Songs From the Year I Was Born in Week 2. So that’s just music from this century. Not just that, but the remaining 10 contestants range from 9 years old (Spelling Bee champ Akash Vukoti) to 14 years old (Mackenzie Ziegler), so we’re getting tunes from a five-year span from 2004 to 2009. Some of these kids weren’t even alive for their rivals’ songs! We are old; they are not. Sigh.
