The poster painting Roger paints in the Fans studio, is a copy of a real poster painting by Syd Barrett.
The cast and crew were thrown out of Golders Hill Park, London NW3 (the river bed sequence), just after getting the shots they needed. The EMI Abbey road sequence was also shot Guerrilla-style.
The main character is liken to Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett, whose overuse of LSD aided in his quitting the music business, which is why the film's title, Remember A Day, is named after a Pink Floyd song (but that was written and sung by keyboardist Richard Wright).
