- The only sexual thing in the movie is a vision William has of his late wife, washing up in the morning. Her bare breasts are briefly shown, and her entire backside is shown when she enters the shower

- Just the plot of movie regarding a woman committing suicide. The actual act is never shown, but it mentioned quite often as "Blowing her brains out."

- Probably the most unsettling content in the movie is William sniffing the fumes from a gasoline soaked rag to get high. He is seen in many scenes doing it on and off screen, and he acts very intoxicated after doing it.
- At one point he encounters a teenage couple who are addicted to sniffing gasoline too, and for a portion of the movie he is shown supplying them with gasoline. They are shown sniffing it as well.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The most unsettling scenes are the gasoline sniffing scenes. Quite hard to watch William abuse himself in that way.
- A few times William has outbursts and lets out a stream of profanities onto other people.
