omarfilipov18 November 2006
Chosen by the critics as one of the best Colombian Films ever, Malamor is best described as a tapestry of emotional intensity, both sensual and tragic. Set in the Sierra Nevada, Lisa (Cristina Umana), an adolescent, finds herself in love with her mother's heroine-addict lover. She searches desperately and violently for understanding and tries to find change in his complicated life. Cristina Umana turns in an awe-striking performance which leads to her premier at the LaCinemaFe Film Festival in New York for Best Main Character.

The desperation for the love of a man leads the protagonist to committing acts of madness. Expelled from the College, hospitalized in the clinic of your father, but her love is mas strongly for being together with the boyfriend of your mother. The adolescence, to love passionately, in the first steps of the life, the drug, they drive her to commit acts of wild madness. Being described in only three words, love, drug and madness.
