My girlfriend and I caught this short film at a festival a couple of months ago. Although it was really well done, two things struck me about it: 1) Notice I said "film." So many short films nowadays are just video projects that look so cheap even the audience is worried about the budget, but this was shot in 35mm (in Panavision--how cool is that!), and 2) This film is funny and upbeat, not depressing and self-indulgent like so many other first-time independents we are subject to. Plus it stars a real (professional) actress. Way to go, Scott!
