While the Chili Peppers didn't achieve major success until their '92 album 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik' there's no denying that the music they put out before that was mostly great.
This release covers all the singles RHCP put out in the mid-late 80's, with the exception of 'Under The Bridge' which was on 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik'. The are some classic songs on here like 'Higher Ground', 'Taste The Pain', 'Behind The Sun', and 'Fight Like A Brave' as well as early stuff like 'Jungle Man'.
'What Hits!?' also includes some behind the scenes footage and live versions of 'Fire', 'Stone Cold Bush' and 'Subway To Venus'.
Overall this is a great compilation with a good variety in songs and videos to go with them!
