Dumb, dumb Sakura, in a great, great movie..., 14 January 2005

Gekijouhan Cardcaptor Sakura - Fuuin Sareta Kaado picks up exactly where the animé series left us: Syaoran went back to Hong Kong and Sakura stayed in Tomoeda. Both of them where in love, and promised to see each other again. And that times comes, but their meeting is not really pleasant. The house where Clow Reed / Eriol Hiiraguizawa lived is destroyed, and as the movie starts, you'll see a... CLOW CARD!! A CLOW CARD shining in blue!! But wait!! Sakura caught them all and turned them into Sakura Cards, right? It's up to you to find out what's all this drill about The Sealed Card. The story is, as has come to be expected from CLAMP, really good, and character development is subtly made. The whole movie has Sakura and Syaoran struggling to say each other those magical words - I love you, and by the end of the movie, a tear is guaranteed to drop down your cheek. The music is just great, and the effects are even better this time around (especially when The Sealed Card appears). Of course, you HAVE to watch the animé series in order to get this movie, otherwise you'll just be wasting your time, as expecting the movie to explain the whole plot of the series would be a little too much to ask. Hands down, a movie that every person who worships Cardcaptor Sakura MUST see. Sakura and Syaoran are back and better than ever!!
