Killer Bean 2: The Party (2000) D: Jeff Lew. A group of wild beans in the apartment below are having a party which is disturbing a tired bean, who then decides to crash the party. As ridiculous as it sounds, the animation is good and it's for the most part amusing. RATING: 7 out of 10.

'Killer Bean 2: The Party' is about a bean who can not sleep because are beans are partying a little too loud. He calls if they can keep the noise down, but the music gets louder. The bean who wants to sleep turns into Killer Bean and starts killing all the other beans.

This very funny short is as funny and stupid as the story sounds. The visuals from 'The Matrix' delivered in this animated short look pretty nice as well.

Comedy at its Climax

I watched "Killer Bean Forever", the 2009 action film based on "The Killer Bean" and "The Killer Bean 2: The Party", before watching "The Killer Bean 2: The Party". I started watching the video with no idea what to expect, but I was delightfully surprised.

The whole video is basically the first scene of "Killer Bean Forever", but, in my opinion, much better. It was definitely much lighter in story and comedy, and even though Killer Bean is still a prick, he is way more likable in this version.

I 100% prefer the dancing scene in this version to the one in the movie. The dance moves are much more diverse and just plain hilarious. I never knew I needed twerking coffee beans in my life.

I really love and recommend "Killer Bean Forever", but I wished that "The Killer Bean 2: The Party" replaced the beginning scene. It is fantastic. I highly recommend taking the time to watch this. It will take less than 10 minutes of your life, and I promise it will be worth it.

This has to be the best animated short ever. I can watch it a million times and still get excited by the excellent shooting scenes and tight sound track. If you have not seen this, stop reading this and watch it right now!!!!! Can't wait for part 3 >:} Jeff Lew has created a masterpiece.

Warning: Spoilers
"The Killer Bean 2: The Party" is a 7-minute animated short film from 2000, so this one will soon have its 20th anniversary already. It was written and directed by Jeff Lew and the Killer Bean franchise is his most noted achievement as a filmmaker. His most known projects are still linked to his work as a visual effects artist as you will find some really huge blockbusters listed there. But back to this one here: It's one of the rare occasions where almost nobody has seen the first (way shorter) film, but this one is pretty popular. A bean, the central character, just wants his quiet, but the guys partying next door won't let him, so the title already tells you what happens next: Killer Bean is off to get and destroy the CD that causes all the noise and everybody ummm.. every bean that gets in his way shall be annihilated. Other than that, there is no real depth or relevance to this one. It's all about the fun (that could have been more) and the action (that could have been less). I am not really sure about what to say about the animation. It wasn't bad, but there was something negative for me to it. Tough to put a finger on what it exactly was. Plot-wise the film really could have fit into half the running time too. Best moment was perhaps the very ending with the alarm clock, but also because it was over. It sure wasn't good enough to get me interested in the first film or the full feature I must say and I sure did not have a time as great and memorable as the bean did. Thumbs down. Not recommended.
