Cesar Evora and Susana Gonzalez makes a great love story in this novela, this is probably the most popular novela, next to "Amigas y Rivales" and "El Privilegio de Amar". Carmen Salinas portrays Chelo in this novela, she had her own talk show back in 2000, called "Hasta en las Mejores Familias". GREAT NOVELA!!!!!!!!!

Amazing love story. Epic couple great love scenes and lots of angst and drama! Sure it is a bit over the top but I still love the drama and the passion! 10 stars!

Ridiculous and overrated

It's no good. Very far fetched and insults the intelligence of the viewers. The hero, Octavio is apparently an imbecile who gets swayed by lies very easily, readily believes anyone without thinking. Goes from one extreme to the other a few times per each episode. Meanwhile, the heroine likes to talk tough, but in the end she caves and humiliates herself in many ways. The most ridiculous and far fetched of all were the fates of the villains here. Frida got leprosy, which is a disease that stopped plaguing humanity about a century ago. Marcial got burned alive by her because he refused to have sex with her, after being repulsed by her deformity. Real life typically doesn't work this way. Ok, even if you'd add a bit of a fantasy element, it's still stupid. Basically a fairy tale where the villains get a very, very horrifying punishment while the main couple lives happily ever after. Most novelas are similar, but also a lot of them don't exactly reach these depths with stupidity.

I just have to say that this novela has been the best I have ever seen. Cesar Evora and Susana Gonzalez make an awesome telenovela couple. What also made it the best is the cast, they had the best of the best.. Carmen Salinas, Maria Sorte, Miguel Corcega, etc... wow...

Everything on this novela was good, from the fights to the love scenes (which, by the way, were the best)
