There is a rich history of professional athletes making the jump from their sport of choice to Hollywood. From Shaquille O'Neal having turns in films like "Kazaam" and "Steel" in the '90s, to LeBron James setting himself up for a movie career after he's done in the NBA, with "Space Jam: A New Legacy" under his belt, in addition to producing the "House Party" remake. I'm here to tell you, dear reader, that we may well have found our next big movie star hailing from the world of professional sports — the NFL in this case — and that man is Marshawn Lynch.
The former Seattle Seahawks running back is and always has been quite the personality, from eating Skittles on the sidelines at games to refusing to talk to the press during his tenure as one of the greatest players to ever play the position. But what is Lynch to do now,...

That's two more for "The Hunger Games!"
Now that most of the principal characters have been cast for the movie (except for President Snow, sheesh!), it's time to start bringing in the lucky actors who will play the many colorful supporting parts. Latarsha Rose and Brooke Bundy are the first two out that gate and into the "Game," according to E! Online.
Latarsha Rose will be playing the part of Portia, Peeta's stylist. Rose has appeared on "All My Children," "CSI" (both "Miami" and "NY") and "Bones" and had a recurring role on "Swingtown." She's also something of a reality TV show veteran, appearing on the 2002 show "The It Factor," which followed 12 actors as they tried to hit it big in the entertainment business.
Brooke Bundy will be taking on the role of Octavia, a member of Katniss' prep team. Bundy recently appeared in the indie drama, "Without," and has...

Some smaller roles in The Hunger Games have been cast, specifically a couple of glamazons from The Capitol. The roles of Peeta’s stylist Portia and glam squad member Octavia, who wax, buff, pluck and beautify the competitors from District Twelve. Latarsha Rose will play Portia and Brooke Bundy will take on the role of Octavia. Octavia’s skin is supposed to be dyed pale green, so it will interesting to see if they pull that off for the film adaptation.
Rose has appeared in bit roles on All My Children, CSI, Bones, Law & Order and reality show The It Factor. Bundy is a newcomer with only a few short films under her belt. Flavius and Venia, Octavia’s fellow prep team members, have yet to be cast but they are really holding out on revealing who will fill the shoes of Katniss’ stylist Cinna.
