A two-reel number, with Wm. E. Shay, Mrs. Walker and Violet Mersereau in the cast. Billy marries a chorus girl against his lather's wishes, is disinherited and they go to a farm. Six years later the father becomes reconciled after saving his two grandchildren from drowning. A most obvious plot, but handled so attractively that it appeals. The country scenes, including the corn field, daisy field, swimming pool, etc., are pleasing. Just pretty freshening up of an old theme. - The Moving Picture World, August 15, 1914
