Enough Is Enough
preppyboy9012 May 2005
From the very beginning "Big Brother VIP" wasn't thought very well by Big Brother Mexico producers. The editions (seasons) that have been aired have had bad sides.

-BB VIP (2002): The contenders were good enough, fun, good-looking, outrageous, KNOWN and only 11. The problem on this edition was that the running of the show was too short, it only lasted for 28 days! No wonder why, the evictions were 2 every Wednesday and Sunday.

-BB VIP 2 (2003): The best one so far. Great contenders in general, great house, great challenges, great development. This time we had 14 contenders but about half of the were unknown!!!. Besides that, it was great, it lasted for about 3 months.

-BB VIP 3.1 (2004): The fall-down begins. The house was awful, the contenders were not even half of VIP and the development in the house wasn't new. The worst part was that producers brought back an evicted from last edition to "light things up". SO WRONG! -BB VIP 3.2 (2004): As if a 3.1 wasn't enough, producers created a 3.2 and started the same day 3.1 ended. The new contenders were brought to the same house but in order to do some make-overs to it, they lasted for 3 days at the yard. The good part was that the new contenders were a little better than the last one, the bad part was that they put in 18 of them!!! At least most of them were known. The whole BB VIP 3 (3.1 and 3.2) lasted like 6 months...GOD!!! -BB VIP 4 (2005): Currently, the new edition brings nothing new but a bunch of contenders (This time 21!!!) The thing now is that the contenders are nothing but nothing, come on: a G-size bra female???, a producer (Not even actor)???, a comedian???, a radio-speaker???!!! This time 3/4 of them are so not VIP!!! -BB VIP 5 (Never again please) The most disgusting thing has been that for each edition, a "sex-symbol" female b#%ch has been part of the show, COME ON!!!.

The worst part is that Mexican viewers can't get enough!!!...This shows how ignorant and mindless people are these days.

The only solution of this show is to change all the rules...

First of all i have to confess that i'm a big fanatic of this reality show and also of the non VIP version. Suddenly i realize that all of this stuff is now a mess. The first season and all the cast including Lorena Herrera and Arath De la Torre (and i believe the duration of 28 days) were a successful formula, that early show just prepare the land for the second season, the best one (14 contestants and 62 days in the house)with Yolanda Andrade, Palazuelos, Karla Alvarez. Then we arrive to the third season that was divided in two parts, the first one with 16 habitants and 62 days, the second with 18 and only 50 days. Part 1 wasn't VIP enough, but the drama was good, they let us to know very strong personalities in Mercedes Molto, Manola Diez, Eduardo Videgaray. That show worked on, but then the second part starts to be so planned, so fake and the result was a cut in the days of being at the house. Now, in 2005 the return of VIP wasn't good enough, 22 contestants, 62 days (obligated because the number of habitants), all in this show is very pretentious and not spontaneous. That's a really really bad fact. The viewers, of course, are disappointed and they prefer other reality shows. The ratings talk by themselves, the people doesn't speak about the program like the first seasons. One solution Mr. Torres: be really creative, don't cast with your personal illusions, cast big stars (first actors and actresses, child actors, teen actors, honest people). Please try to get back your audience being ORIGINAL, we are tired of posses and planned stuff. Get real. Or you have another chance: please let us rest of this boring issues.
