- Gale is a city girl with a passion for animal pets, so she goes to a farm. Here she meets with various experiences that make her decide to return. Among other things she is chased by a ram and thrown into a well.
- With everything at her command that money can buy, Diana Dubbs pines for a life in the country. She is courted by a city man whom her father wants her to marry, but she can see none of him. To cure her, father gives her a foreclosed mortgage to a farm and send her to it. The farm is operated by a Farmer Pink. Nothing is too hard for him if it gets him the money. He has working for him a couple of hired men, and to their number he adds another, Bill. What Bill doesn't know about farming would fill a large book, but the farmer puts him to work anyhow. Diana arrives and takes command of the farm. The farmer is pretty sore, and to get her out of the way, thus hoping to retain the farm, schemes with his two hired men to get Diana out of the way. The innocent Bill however, unconsciously upsets all their plans by inadvertently blundering into the traps they set for Diana. While at the well, drawing water, she is dropped inside by the farmer and his hirelings. About to drown, she Is rescued by Bill, not, however, until he effectually disposes of the schemers. That's enough for Diana. She gives the farm to Bill and goes back to father effectually cured.—Copyright Description from Library of Congress
