  Pine : It's where he jacked up his grades to get eligible!

• Betch : [Johnny is throwing up into a bucket]  Don't give it all away, son. You're gonna need gas for this afternoon.

  [he pats Johnny on the back] 

  Johnny Haynes : Yes, sir!

• Betch : [Clattering a bucket at 5 a.m]  Last one of you peckerheads to the practice field is gonna run laps 'til 1958! Grab a jersey from the manager. The first team gets maroon.

  Skeet Keeler : You mean we're gonna practice in the dark?

  Betch : Oh, no. We're gonna practice 'til it gets dark.
