Universal's The Fate of the Furious left the competition in the dust at the North American box office, grossing $38.7 million in its second weekend for a 10-day domestic total of $163.6 million and $908.4 million globally.
The action movie fell 61 percent in North America, a fairly good hold for the front-loaded franchise. Fate of the Furious is also doing massive business overseas, where it earned another $163.4 million for a foreign total of $744.8 million — led by China with an astounding $318 million.

August 2005 was a much simpler time: The first iPhone was still two years away from being released, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo was in theaters, and Prison Break debuted on Fox. After two prison escapes, an Ocean’s Eleven-style reset, four seasons, and a TV movie, the hit series signed off in 2009.
Now, with Fox reviving many of its greatest hits (please let Fastlane be next), Michael, Lincoln, Sara, T-Bag, Sucre, and C-Note are back. I know what you’re thinking: “Wait, but didn’t Michael die at the end of Prison Break?...

Need to catch up? Check out the previous Homeland recap here.
Quinn had me worried after the first couple episodes of Homeland‘s sixth season… and now I’m just terrified.
Sunday’s episode opens with a long-overdue sight: Quinn getting into the shower! (About time, smelly!) Only when he turns on the water, sarin gas comes out. Nope, it’s just a nightmare, one that Quinn wakes up from screaming bloody murder. Carrie runs downstairs to comfort him, and they share a long embrace. So long, in fact, that Quinn gets the wrong idea and starts lifting up her shirt.

The tension is rising in the first official trailer for Season 6 of “Homeland.” In the middle of the “most difficult transfer of power in history” (no, not our own), the upcoming season of the Showtime series picks up several months after the events of Season 5 and focuses on the aftermath of a U.S. presidential election and the transition between election day and the inauguration of the president-elect, portrayed by Elizabeth Marvel.
Carrie (Claire Danes) is now back in Brooklyn and has begun working at a foundation that provides aid to Muslims living in the Us. The trailer shows her willingness to do anything to help others, even if it means rattling some cages. The almost three-minute clip also shows Saul (Mandy Patinkin) getting kidnapped again, nuclear weapons talk and most importantly, Quinn’s (Rupert Friend) return.

Television has a rich and proud tradition of featuring women not just defying gender roles and inspiring generations, but doing so while wearing one of fashion’s most elegant yet practical ensembles: the pantsuit.
From comedies to procedurals to late night talk shows, some of our most beloved pop culture icons have shown us the power of a well-coordinated jacket and slacks. The pantsuit is arguably the ultimate power outfit — as exemplified by a few other prominent powerful women — and so today, on a historic day for America, we look back at just a few of the legendary ladies who have graced the small screen in style.
Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) – “30 Rock”
In a consistent rotation of looks, Liz Lemon put on a pantsuit when Businesswoman (is that even a word?) Liz took priority over Creative Liz, who favored everything from long-sleeved T’s to flannels and sweaters. For as...

It’s sad to say, but we’ve officially been living in a post-“Lost,” post-“Lord of the Rings” world for many moons now. That means, among other things, that we don’t see Dominic Monaghan around as much as we used to. The Irish actor will next be seen in “Pet,” a captivity thriller from director Carles Torrens. Watch its trailer below.

The former Charlie Pace and Merry Brandybuck plays a rather different character here: a man whose unrequited love for a woman turn dark and violent.
