Based on a manga, this movie is in Japanese with no subtitles and my Japanese is limited. So, why am I recommending it at all? For its sheer audacity. Set in a high school in Japan (Japanese equivalent of one) this co-educational school has strange characters for administration, one who looks like a caveman and another who likes he is dressed in a circus tent. Everyone is wreaking havoc in this place, and its no surprise this film is alternately entitled "Shameless School". A pretty new teacher gets her skirt lifted up in class, as do all the female students. There is a field trip where the teacher, no longer innocent, drives the bus while drunk and the scene is right out of Benny Hill. This must have been great fun at the time of release and probably gave parents of school age kids nightmares as to what was going on in school. Its slapstick comedy and works in that context. There have been four films in the series, with the star being the pretty student Miyuki Kojima. So, should you watch it? Its hard to obtain outside Japan and its pricey. The four films are available as a box set, again only in Japanese. So, if you think you'd like this. Go ahead. You get the gist of the wacky goings on.
