Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • The player spends a lot of time in the game shooting at enemy soldiers. Most of the violence revolves around simulated infantry combat, so shootouts will usually be at a distance rather than up close.
  • When a soldier is shot, a brief red puff can be seen coming from the wound, and getting close enough will reveal the aftermath of the wound, usually involving a lot of blood around the wound, sometimes with tissue shown missing.
  • On rare occasions, looking closely at a large wound will reveal muscle tissue. However, it is often difficult to make out due to the older graphics used by the game.
  • Although it is possible to run over enemies with tanks and/or jeeps, there are no special animations or gore to depict this. Instead, the victim will fall down as if shot as the vehicle causes him/her to slide across the ground. Sometimes, running over an enemy soldier has no effect whatsoever.
  • Some of the game's cut-scenes show somebody shooting somebody else, usually with little blood present.
  • Also present in some cut-scenes are dead bodies of soldiers covered in blood.
  • Unlike most shooting games, dead bodies do not disappear.
  • Sometimes a pool of blood will form around a dead body.

Profanity

  • Several uses of mild profanity (damn, hell, ass).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some reference to vodka are made throughout the game.
  • Smoking cigarettes is sometimes referenced.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This game is designed to simulate modern military warfare. The realistic setting in which the combat takes place, as well as the fact that the resulting carnage doesn't disappear, may be disturbing to some.
