The Ultimate Universe reimagined the Infinity Stones as "scabs" that manifest in times of calamity to save the universe. Tony Stark discovered he grew an Infinity Gem inside his head, which was dissected brutally by the villainous Maker. The Ultimate Universe concluded with Ultimate Tony Stark using the Infinity Gems to resurrect, but ending up facing new threats.

Don’t expect to see Kristen Stewart in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although the actor is no stranger to big budget Hollywood tentpoles, from the “Twilight” movies to “Snow White and the Huntsman,” she recently said on the “Not Skinny but Not Fat” podcast that the studio system would have to dramatically change in order for her to sign on to a Marvel tentpole. That, or Greta Gerwig would have to be directing.
“I will likely never do a Marvel movie … it sounds like a fucking nightmare, actually,” Stewart said, noting that she does like making “big movies because I like people to watch them when I’m in them.”
Podcast host Amanda Hirsch said that Stewart could’ve maybe played a version of Spider-Man’s love interest Mary Jane Watson at one point in her career, but the actor said “the system would have to change” in order for...

Robert Downey Jr.’s death scene in Avengers: Endgame will perhaps be the most poignant moment in all of the MCU movies. While fans did not see it coming in the Infinity Saga finale, Downey Jr. knew about Iron Man’s fate from around the time of filming Captain America: Civil War. Marvel boss Kevin Feige pitched the idea to the Oppenheimer actor after getting inspired by another Marvel film. Feige was impressed by how Hugh Jackman’s character arc ended in Logan.
Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man death scene in Avengers: Endgame
Logan gave a fitting conclusion to Jackman’s Wolverine. At the end of the film, he sacrifices his life for his biological daughter, Laura, and other young mutants. The film became the best-reviewed film in the X-Men franchise.

Ninja Kamui takes the idea of ninja technology to a whole new level, integrating futuristic tech with classic ninja themes. Unlike Boruto, Ninja Kamui fully embraces technology as part of the story, making it an essential part of the DNA of the series. Park's visionary choice to blend technology with physical and supernatural abilities in Ninja Kamui has captivated modern viewers.
One of the gifts Boruto has bestowed on the shinobi anime genre is the idea of "ninja tech", and while the idea has appeared in other ninja-based anime, few have tapped into the promise of a technologically enhanced shinobi more than the new hit series Ninja Kamui. Actor and recent Oscar-winner Robert Downey Jr. is known for his decade-long role as Iron Man in the MCU. The actor laid the foundations for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, alongside director Jon Favreau and producer Kevin Feige. The film is largely credited with having changed how superhero films were perceived in Hollywood.
Downey Jr.’s off-screen persona often includes a self-aware yet inflated sense of ego. However, even he set it aside to name James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy as the best film in the franchise. The Oppenheimer star mentioned how he was surprised by how great the film was, with relatively unknown characters, and ended up being so important for the MCU.

Robert Downey Jr.’s ultimate sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame is one of the most important scenes in the entirety of the MCU. We have never truly felt the weight of death in this cinematic universe before the end of Tony Stark. According to Kevin Feige, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine’s iconic and emotional end in 2017’s Logan convinced the makers to chalk out something similar for Iron Man.
Tony Stark’s sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame
Although Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow faced her end even before Tony Stark, 2021’s Black Widow proved to be her swansong in the superhero universe. Many people may argue over the nature of her return in Black Widow but it can’t be denied that Robert Downey Jr.’s final snapping scene with the iconic “I Am Iron Man” dialogue still hit hard.

The Fantastic Four are called Marvel’s First Family because, well, they actually are. Back in 1961, the company formerly known as Timely Comics transitioned into Marvel Comics. They kept some of their titles, such as Journey Into Mystery, but began a new approach to superhero comics with The Fantastic Four. These new titles would show the internal drama between the characters and not just their superheroics. After these characters became a big hit, the company created other heroes such as The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, and Iron Man.
Fox would end up with the movie rights to bring these characters to the big screen but ultimately would produce content that really didn’t live up to what the comics promised. After four attempts (ironic), the rights have finally reverted back to Marvel Studios through Disney’s purchase of Twentieth Century Studios. Now that the MCU is around, fans are interested in...

Warlock's true form is revealed in Legion of X #7, showcasing his golden humanoid appearance in the Astral Plane. As a techno-organic member of Technarchy, Warlock lacks a constant physical form, constantly shifting to fight alongside the X-Men. Warlock's bond with Doug and years-long association with Earth's mutants reflect his self-image, solidifying his loyalty to the X-Men family.
Throughout their publication history, the X-Men have welcomed some of Marvel Comics’ most outlandish heroes into their ranks. From Maggot to Marrow, the Merry Mutants have never shied away from fighting along more unconventionally designed heroes. But after decades of publication history, one of the X-Men’s strangest icons, Warlock, has finally revealed his true form.

The following contains spoilers for Immaculate, now playing in theaters. It also contains a mention of sexual assault and infanticide.
2024 has been an interesting year in terms of religious horrors. The Deliver Us ending focused on a woman giving birth to both the Antichrist and Messiah. It offered a new take on Rosemary's Baby that was very thought-provoking, and reiterated the message that sometimes people do have the opportunity to break the mold and not follow a set path.
Sydney Sweeney's Immaculate treads similar ground, as it focuses on a sinister pregnancy at an Italian convent. As with many movies today, fans who haven't seen it yet are left wondering if there is a post-credits stinger looking to expand this flick into other movies.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded exponentially since Iron Man came out in 2008, especially in the last few years. There have been several memorable films in the franchise, and James Gunn was at the helm of quite a few of them.
The director took on a group of misfits and delivered The Guardian of the Galaxy, a film that set the bar higher within the MCU. The film generated a lot of buzz throughout the filming process, and every now and then, a bit of trivia keeps percolating down to fans on social media.
Gunn often engages with fans on social media, sharing tidbits himself. Given the scope of the universe, there is no dearth of rumors as well. Unsurprisingly, when a casting rumor went viral online a few years ago, he took it upon himself to shut it down.

Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man was the McU's riskiest but most perfect casting choice. Chris Pratt, Ryan Reynolds, and Chris Evans were actors simply perfectly cast for their roles. Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad shined through as a standout success.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe, DC's movies — both part of the shared DC Extended Universe and not — and other superhero franchises have had some amazing casting decisions save movies. The McU's casting has been constantly praised over the years. Marvel has had the good fortune of very rarely missing with its actor choices, and even when the studio had to recast certain roles, the new actors perfectly suited their characters and contributed to some of the McU's best films.

Marvel expands Ironheart's backstory in the MCU by revealing how Tony Stark's technology influenced Riri Williams.
Fans could only assume that Riri Williams met Tony Stark before Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the film that passed Iron Man's torch and legacy to Ironheart. Both characters didn't have the chance to share scenes in the film (which takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame), but there was also no mention of Stark's direct influence over Williams to explain the latter's knowledge to build her first Mark armor. Thankfully Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - The Art of the Movie book sheds light on this (via The Direct), confirming what audiences suspected – that Riri Williams was aware of and influenced by Tony Stark's work.

Rdj & Gwyneth Paltrow's real conversations influenced Iron Man's dialogue, showing the importance of their chemistry in the movie's success. Iron Man's success played a crucial role in establishing the MCU and paved the way for Disney's acquisition of Marvel Studios. Favreau's innovative approach to writing dialogue and the right cast choice were key factors in Iron Man's impact on shaping the MCU as we know it today.
Iron Man director Jon Favreau recently revealed his trick for writing dialogue in the first MCU movie, and his method showed just how important it was that the movie had the right cast. It may be hard to remember, given what an icon Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark became, but at the time Iron Man seemed like a big risk. Iron Man wasn't as popular as heroes like Spider-Man, and Robert Downey Jr. had only recently started his acting comeback.

Disney is one of the many companies people would do anything to work for. After all, who wouldn’t want to be part of all the magic they create? Billionaire and investor Nelson Peltz surely knows what we are talking about as he is currently eyeing not one but two Disney board seats. However, it looks like he might have said something that is going to cost him the deal.
Nelson Peltz in an interview with CNBC
We all know very well that Marvel Studios is an extremely crucial component of Disney thanks to its track record at the box office and an insane fanbase. So, when Nelson Peltz decided to come for the studio’s throat by targeting The Marvels and Black Panther, he probably didn’t know that could end up costing him the board seats.

After more than 16 years without such a scene, War Machine's upcoming solo film, Armor Wars, could finally show James Rhodes suiting up on screen. Iron Man has always overshadowed War Machine in the MCU, starring in all the McU's armor suit-up scenes so far. A suit-up scene in Armor Wars would be the perfect way to show how the real Rhodey is back in action after being replaced by a Skrull.
War Machine's first solo movie, Armor Wars, might feature one moment that the MCU has avoided since 2008's Iron Man. First devised as a Disney+ series, the McU's upcoming Armor Wars movie is set to follow Don Cheadle's James Rhodes as he deals with the appearance of multiple armored villains. MCU is one of the biggest and most successful media franchises centered around superhero movies based on the characters from Marvel Comics. The franchise includes movies, TV series, short movies, digital series, and literature. The first phase of the MCU under President Kevin Feige began with 2008’s Iron Man and was concluded with 2012’s The Avengers. But, Nelson Peltz, an activist investor, questions Feige’s ability to run MCU following recent disappointments in terms of movies, series, and the Jonathan Majors controversy.

Tony Stark's latest invention, the Sentinel Buster Armor – as witnessed in action during the events of Invincible Iron Man #16 – is a game-changing design, built to outsmart and outmuscle even Stark's own tech, which has been co-opted by the evil anti-mutant organization Orchis. The immense size, and durability of the Sentinel Buster makes it Tony Stark's strongest design yet, but what makes it truly notable is the Buster's upgraded autopilot feature, which allows Tony to independently operate in battle, wearing his own Iron Man suit, while the Sentinel Buster continues to fight. The new features built into the Sentinel Buster could revolutionize future Iron Man iterations, providing a strategic advantage in battles that have previously never been witnessed in Tony Stark's long, superlative-filled career.

How old Steve Rogers got to the bench in Avengers: Endgame is still unclear, leaving an intriguing mystery unsolved in the movie. Conflicting explanations from those involved in the movie add layers to the complex narrative of Captain America's return, creating more uncertainty around how he made it back. The MCU multiverse saga may see the specifics of old Captain America's journey also be addressed, especially due to their ties to Loki season 2's ending.

Then, instead of returning to the present, he chose to stay in the past and spend his life with Peggy Carter.
