- Guerrilla warfare and battle scenes are depicted throughout the film.
- A man is beaten severely, shown from a distance.
- People are seen being struck by bullets and falling to the ground during battle sequences.
- Two women are harassed and abducted by soldiers. It is implied that they will be raped but not shown.
- A woman is caught in the crossfire of a battle and shot, shown from a distance.
- Dead bodies are seen throughout the film, usually not up close.
- A hanged body with a bullet wound is shown up close.
- Children are lined up to be executed. Two are shot, shown in slow motion. No blood is shown, but the bodies collapse to the ground.
