Average Spanish comedy packed with fun situations , silly characters and far-fetched events,
ma-cortes30 April 2015
Unsane comedy with crazy events , entertainment and amusement . Filled with absurd situations closely followed by embarrassing events that doesn't take long in coming to a head in undisguised pandemónium . Emilio (Borja Elgea) is studying for a Public Official entrance examination , it is a very difficult exam , being level : 30 . Emilio is on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and suffers astonishing dreams and unreal nightmares . So his parents (María Garralón , Janfri Topera) decide that he has to go to stay with her uncle (Quique San Francisco) , a wealthy man with some dark business . Spending the last days before his exam in a countryside mansion , he will become nutty , as there take place a lot of antics , crazies and wild parties . In addition, an old schoolmate called Salvador (Roger Pera) wishes to take advantage of him , as he begins living at Emilio home . Then , Salvador finds a bag of pills , ecstasy-alike .

Funny script full of humor , entertainment and exciting situations ; however , resulting to a be a mediocre film . This is a crazy Spanish comedy that offers no intellectual stimulus whatsoever , though it has some fun and hilarious set-pieces . Packed with scenes of absurd nature , this story is a fantastic farce, as we follow the ridiculous exploits of a student whose destination is dictated for his obsessive ambition to pass a hard exam . This main premise about a depressed student is overspread throughout the movie , but not totally satisfactory , including conventional pitfalls . It is starred by two unknown actors , Borja Egea as a student who attempts to pass a competitive examination , having hallucinations and illusory nightmares and Roger Pera as a botcher slacker , and , of course , the gorgeous Paula Echevarria . Paula gives a passable performance in this middling comedy about a student that his life is being taken over by a lazy swindler . Paula Echevarría was born 1977 in Asturias, Spain , she is a famous actress , known for Luz De Domingo (2007) , Sangre De Mayo , both of them directed by Jose Luis Garci . She also starred important TV series as Velvet (2013) , Gran Reserva (2010) , Al Salir De Clase and El Comisario . The main amusement is to guess several prestigious secondaries appear throughout the film such as Maria Garralón of ¨Verano Azul¨ , Miguel Rellan of ¨El Crack¨ , Nathalie Seseña of ¨Day of the beast¨ , Pablo Rivero of ¨Cuentame¨ , Eduardo Gomez of ¨800 bullets¨, Rosario Pardo of ¨Crimen Ferpecto¨, Secun De La Rosa of ¨Lobos De Arga¨ , Janfri Topera who played ¨Professor Bacterio in Mortadelo and Filemón¨ , Jesús Bonilla of ¨La Comunidad¨ and Jorge Sanz of ¨Lovers¨ , among others .

The film was produced by Enrique Cerezo , a nice producer who has financed several successes such as ¨Juana La Loca¨ , ¨A Golpes¨ , Daga De Rasputín¨, ¨The long kill¨, "The Final Inquiry" , ¨Witching & Bitching" , and recently ¨Argento's Dracula 3D¨ , among others . The motion picture was regularly directed by Ernesto Martin at his first one . He subsequently directed ¨Perro Flaco¨ (2011) , his second and last movie .

Emilio is studding for a very very important exam, and he is getting out of his nerves. He has hallucinations and nightmares, so his family decides that he has to go to live with her uncle, a rich man with a dark past. Spending the last days before the exam in a palace will make him crazy. In addition, an old friend who wants to live by Emilio's money, start to live with him. All that will make Emilio to reconsider all his world and what is important and what not... This is the typical American young guys movie, but in a Spanish way. So if it was stupid and crazy, now it is more stupid and poor indeed. Surprisingly it is quite funny, and short (very important!). If like this kind of movies, you can watch it, but nothing more...
