Bordering on the melodramatic
deickemeyer4 September 2019
An excellent drama bordering on the melodramatic. Claire McDowell plays the feminine lead. An unusually good ballroom scene appears in the picture, the situations of the story are perfectly legitimate, and it is altogether an attractive production. The trouble occurs through the innocent duplicating of a borrowed necklace in imitation stones, and through also innocent failure to return the right necklace, its theft brings suspicion on the wrong party. - The Moving Picture World, February 20, 1915
