A powerful and emotional documentary about the genocide in Rwanda in 1994. It was made 10 years after and features heartrending interviews with some of the victims. It even has some interviews with a few of the perpetrators. It is difficult for us to judge whether these individuals sincerely regret what they did. We are taken to a number of sites where victims were massacred. The victims included children and babies as well as adults. Be warned that this is a very disturbing and at the same time a very moving documentary. It is not for the faint of heart.
It is indeed important to get these eyewitness accounts on the record and to preserve them. It prevents future historical revisions.
