It's fine

This is one of the three featurettes on the DVD of 50 First Dates, and one of the two that is up here on the site. It consists of behind the scenes footage, interviews and clips from the flick. There is a reasonable amount of information, and apart from that, some of the talking heads make jokes. If you like the sense of humor expressed in the movie itself, maybe you'll find them funny; I can't claim that I particularly did. This is kind of the straight making-of documentary on the disc, and contains its share of anecdotes about how it all came about, who hired who, what got who their job and such. The running time is 20 minutes, and it's reasonably paced. It's not interesting all of the time, and the many different sources of filmed material that it goes back and forth between, a couple of them of fairly poor video quality. There's a little of the offensive stuff from the picture itself in this, and there are clips that potentially spoil plot points, so you'll want to keep that in mind when deciding if this is for you or not. I recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the subject. 6/10
