A very laughable rough comedy which introduces several diversified characters attempting to collect rent money from a garrulous and parsimonious old maid. After the boss, the stenographer and prizefighter fail it is amusing to see dear little Milo get the money and a job for life. - The Moving Picture World, May 2, 1914
