They’ve done some of their best work together in Naach, Sarkar and Sarkar Raj. Regrettably Abhishek Bachchan couldn’t be part of Ramu’s new film Sarkar 3 as his character was killed in the second Sarkar film. The recently released Ganesh Acharya movie Hey Bro has definitely been appreciated for its music by the audience. The song video for ‘Birju’ features many Bollywood greats such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh. BollySpice brings you an exclusive interview with the Music Directors of Hey Bro ‘Nitz n Sony’ aka Nitin Arora and Sony Chandy. Read on to find out how they conceived the music of the film and learn about their ‘fairly’ unusual background before they became Music Directors in the Bollywood industry!

Prabhu Deva is back in the game with his second release of the year, R Rajkumar, which teams him with Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, and his much sought after music director Pritam. Deva had been trying to book the busy Pritam to compose for his other films, but it hadn’t worked until this album. Pritam and Shahid also teamed for his last release Phata Poster Nikla Hero, which raises expectations for this album to deliver. As expected, the songs are energetic, catchy, and fulfill that masala quota. However, it feels slightly perfunctory in producing the kuthu song, the romantic song, the item song,
Gandi Baat has been making waves on social media ever since its debut, with good reason, as it’s a catchy and slickly produced track. The song does resemble “Dhating Naach” with its chorus section of the dhols, and horns, but this one fares better with Mika Singh and Kalpana Patowary.

Coming up on August 23rd is Prakash Jha’s political thriller Satyagraha, starring an incredible cast that includes Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, and Manoj Bajpayee. For the music of the film, Jha brought in the great duo of Salim and Sulaiman, who in turn brought in some incredible singers. Both Shweta and Shraddha Pandit are featured on the Ost and what is so cool is that this is only the second time the gorgeous songstress sisters have sung in the same film. We caught up with them to ask about their songs in Satyagraha, working with Salim-Sulaiman and much more!
How does it feel to be the only 2 sisters in this generation to sing in the same film for different songs and actors?
Shraddha: It’s a blessing. People from musical backgrounds generally hope to have at least one child to pursue music seriously and make...

Despite the gems we have seen in 2012, there’s always going to be a lineup of duds that let you down and unintentionally make you laugh. 2012 rolled out the big masala films and introduced a great bunch of well-written and thoughtful films. So it’s time to scrape through dreck and remind ourselves of films that were better left unwatched and tossed out and that too for the right reasons! From egregious dubbing voices for debutantes, to more ridiculous dance moves from Salman and Ajay Devgn, the Razzies this year remind us that there’s always the good, the dreadful, and the awful.

Mumbai, March 14: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and actor Abhishek Bachchan, who worked together in "Naach", "Sarkar" and "Sarkar Raj", will join hands again for the remake of the Telugu film "Businessman".
"Finally it's confirmed...me and Puri Jagannath together are making the remake of the blockbuster Telugu hit 'Businessman' with Abhishek Bachchan," Varma tweeted.
Jagannath has also written and directed the original movie, which starred Mahesh Babu and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles.
Varma is currently working on "Department" where southern star Rana Daggubati will be seen as a grungy policeman - a role that.

Unfortunately, despite the amount of good films out in 2011, there were some disastrous duds that landed in the cinemas that were absolute dreck and deserved tomatoes heaped at them. We had lots of Kangna being chased around by old men, Chichi being a libidinous 40 year old virgin, and the ubiquitous Ram Gopal Verma swinging the camera lens all through Mahie Gill. Though to be quite honest, there were more wasted potential in some half-good movies than the usual awful comedies offered every Friday. So here’s a look at all that was rubbish and built up our anger this year.
The Dreadful Debutante Award – Nargis Fakhri
As she pursed her injected lips together, the audience lets out collective groan as the unfortunate dubbing artiste voices for her ‘Bugger Off!’ in one of the most anticipated films came one of the most awaited debuts from this gorgeous gal from New York.

Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan
Actor Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly walked out of Ram Gopal Varma?s Department after son Abhishek Bachchan was dropped from the cast
Ram Gopal Varma had allegedly revealed the ending of Dum Maaro Dum (2011) before its release through an SMS and also made digs at Abhishek Bachchan. This resulted in a fall out between the two and saw Rana Daggubati replace Junior Bachchan in Department. Amitabh Bachchan didn?t take this lightly and walked out of the film. A source reported ?Amitabh is not interested in working with a filmmaker who has meted out such shoddy treatment to his son?.
Ram Gopal Varma
“It all started last month when Abhishek told Ramu that he wasn’t too keen on working in the film. The director couldn’t take a ‘No’ gracefully. He started sending out uncharitable remarks on Dum Maro Dum from his cellphone,” revealed a source.

How amazing would it be having the likes of Hrithik Roshan or Shahid Kapoor as a dance mentor? Well, Shiamak Davar’s Naach Meri Jaan Fataa Faat is going to give a group of children from the slums just that chance. In his direcorial debut, Davar is giving dancing greats such as Madhuri Dixit, Hrithik Roshan, Sridevi and Shahid Kapoor the chance to train the kids before they are let lose in front of the camera.
Davar, who is very well-known for his unforgettable choreography in Dil To Pagal Hai and Dhoom 2, after trying his hand at music direction with 'Jhooth Bole Kawaa Kaate' is now turning to direction. His dance academy, Shiamak Davar Dance Company, boasts the starting point of Shahid Kapoor and Davar is also known to have altered the way dance was perceived in Indian cinema.

Shiamak Davar.s directorial debut Naach Meri Jaan Fataa Faat, on slum children appearing for a dance competition, will have an entourage of Bollywood superstars working with him.The process of selecting the slum kids will not be fataa fat though. Only post this stage will the kids face the camera for Shiamak. The hunt for these slum children will begin next month and the film team will be travelling across various slums in Mumbai including Dharavi (of course, that couldn.t be missed after Danny Boyle.s visit) and Kalyan. The idea of selecting ten superstar mentors emerged from Shiamak.s long and illustrious career with the film industry. Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in Aladin which turned out to be a colossal disappointment at the box office. Just when it had started seeming that Riteish Deshmukh had placed his feet firmly in the big league of Bollywood, the no-show of Aladin made one wonder if the young man would be able to bounce back. Well, he bounces back for sure and does a lot more with his Rann round the corner. In a serious avtar (years after Naach which was incidentally directed by Ram Gopal Varma hi...

Actor Ritesh Deshmukh started out his film career with the film “Tujhe Meri Kasam” which turned out to be a flop at the box office. Ritesh’s second film “Out of Control” by Vashu Bhagnani didn’t do that well either and it beckoned that Ritesh might not have a promising career in the industry. But Ritesh was back with a bang in the comedy film “Masti” based on 3 close friends, which was a complete hit at the box office. Followed by Masti, there was Kya Kool Hain Hum, Bardaasht, Naach, Mr. or Mrs., Fight Club, Maalamal Weekly, Cash, Apna Sapna Money Money, Hey Baby, Dhamaal etc. These.

Manisha Koirala is looking for meaty roles at this point of her career. So when the redoubtable Amol Palekar offered her a role in his new film, the prolific director's first in English, Manisha jumped with joy. Amol has extracted exceptional performances from his female actors including Deepti Naval in Ankahee, Anita Kanwar in Thodasa Roomani Ho Jayen and Rani Mukherjee in Paheli. Manisha expected the prolific Palekar to offer her yet another opportunity to relive her golden days of Khamoshi The Musical, Bombay and Dil Se. But to her dismay the role in Palekar's film was just a cameo. "I'd have loved to work with Amolji. It was an interesting character, that of a Buddhist monk. I'd have given my right arm to play the role, if only I had at least two scenes ...achcha chalo, only one meaty scene. I've never believed in measuring my roles in terms of playing time.
