Venus is a romantic 25 year old. She's sweet but not very attractive, and lives alone with her stoic father in an isolated valley up north. Se shared her first and only kiss with a boy when she was nine. Shortly thereafter the boy disappeared along with the promise of a first true love, and since the she's been waiting for his return.
One morning her father shows up dead and Venus abandons her home and sets out in search of her lost love.
Not very far away, David, a young and magnetic actor is on the set of his first Hollywood super-production where he is to play the lead. But the idea of being loved and cherished by millions scares the hell out of him... precisely because it's so tempting.
