This movie is definitely not for intended for the average blank horror movie lover.

Usually, these kind of movies are described as "a roller-coaster ! :D", or "one hell of a ride :D". These doesn't apply for this movie. Sheitan is literally a ride to hell.

An unease setting in straight from the start, for no apparent reason, persistent, building one touch at a time, served by nervous and sometimes inventive editing effects, unashamedly using everything that would serve anyone a good old cup of gut-wrenching sickness to get that uneasiness going to build towards an truly unsettling ending that reminds the viewer of the best classics of the genre, served by the unusual ease of the first time actors, the strongly convincing performance of Vincent Cassel and the reliance on actors, story, moods and editing rather than gore, guts and special effect shots.

If you planned on watching a formatted horror movie while laughing at a severed head or enjoy some naked boobies running around in the forest for no real reason, please check back in the US horror section of your favorite video joint. This is a humorous, horrible, sick, unsettling movie, so forget about the popcorn.
