- Animals push an elephant into a cramped cage and threaten to boil a flower with a society of people on it in a giant cauldron. But the flower is saved as the animals hear the voice of people from the flower.

- The vulture and his attack may be frightening to children.
- At the end of the film, Horton is roped down and locked into a prison while the clover is snatched from him and nearly dropped into a pot of boiling water. While the who's are saved at the last minute, this scene is surprisingly violent for a G rated film
