"La Guerra del Chaco" is the only one paraguayan film about the war against Bolivia (1932-1935). The director of this film was the assistant camera of the first paraguayan director Hipolito Carrón. This is one of the first films of Agustín Carrón Quell, and the most important. He was filming for months in the dry Chaco's territory, where many soldiers died because they didn't have water to drink.
