• Continuity: The shape and location of the scar on Lazarus's right shoulder changes several times through out the film.
  
  
• Continuity: Right after Rae discovers that Lazarus has chained her to the radiator, there are a series of shots from different angles. When filming Christina Ricci from behind, her shirt is down to the middle of her upper arm on both sides, but when filmed from the front, her shirt is on her shoulder on the left arm.
  
  
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Ronnie's American Flag patch on the right sleeve of his BDU shirt before he leaves appears to be backwards. However, this is in accordance with Army regulations that call for the flag "to be worn so that to observers, it looks as if the flag is flying against a breeze."
  
  

• Continuity: Although Rae is thrown in the dirt many times, her underwear stays perfectly white through out the ordeal.
  
  
• Continuity: Despite Rae running around in the dirt for much of the film in bare feet, her feet stay remarkably clean.
  
  
• Continuity: When Lazarus is entering the pharmacy he pulls a shirt over an obviously dirty tank underwear shirt with yellow staining at the front neckline. When he talks to the pharmacist moments later he's wearing the shirt, but his still-showing underwear shirt is pristine white.
  
  
• Continuity: When Lazarus is sing in the bar towards the end of the film. The cable on the microphone he is using keeps switching from being wrapped around the microphone stand, to just falling straight to the floor.
  
  
• Continuity: The position of Rae's over-sized shirt changes from very low on her left shoulder to just below her neckline in the beginning, when she says goodbye to Ronnie.
