Citas:
Rob Ladd: Typically, if the drummer were to add a second bass drum part, he would continue to lead on the downbeats with his right foot, and then any sort of extra notes would come out of the left. But that's not the way that Keith did it. When he would come to a section that required double bass playing, he would switch to a left-foot lead, which is the most insane thing I think I've ever heard of. másBanda de Sonido:

Amazing Journey: The Story of the Who Who the f*#% am I to judge this film? I'm no music expert, I'm merely a casual fan of The Who, I'm seventeen and didn't grow up in the time of the band, and to be quite frank I've never seen a "Roc-Doc" before. I merely tagged along with my dad to the U.S premiere because I'm an avid fan of film, and going to a film premiere would be awesome; plus Roger Daltrey was there!
But I'll give my opinion anyhow.
As far as documentary's go, "Amazing Journey..." seems a lot more personal than most films of the genre. That's because there's no ominous outside voice assessing the subject matter, but instead the film is propelled by reflections of the surviving band members and those close to them (minus, you know, the likes of Sting). There's laughs to be shed in their light-hearted commentary (it doesn't seem like anyone wants to say anything bad though), insight to be gained from their perspectives, and some powerful reflection on their losses (Keith Moon and Jon Enwhistle). It's entertaining to be sure, but nothing revelatory or ground-breaking. For Die-hards mostly. 8/10
