Anacronismos: In this film, set in what appeared to be the 1950s, a Triumph motorcycle appeared with disc brakes. No mass-produced motorcycle had disc brakes until the 1969 Hondas and they never appeared on Triumph models until the 21st century.

"December Boys" is, quite simply, a beautiful movie. It's beautifully written, acted, photographed and directed. It's obvious the people who made this movie have a passion for film-making.

"December Boys" brings back good old fashion storytelling and movie-making. It's a great "coming of age" script that took us on a journey with four young orphan boys living in the Australian outback. The acting in remarkable. Withour exception, every actor in this film delivers. Daniel Radcliffe is absolutely wonderful and, as the oldest December Boy, graciously shares the screen with all of his extremely talented co-stars. The entire cast is great.

While watching this movie, you can't help but feel like you're right there, on this simple, yet tender journey through adolescence in the Australian outback with these orphaned boys.

The director, actors and crew should be truly proud. They pulled all of the elements together and made a wonderful motion picture.

Hollywood needs to make more movies like this one.
