A good adaptation Warning: Spoilers
While I usually like the books written by Stephen King, I have to say that most of the film adaptations of his written works tend to left too much to be desired. Of course, there are always exceptions to that rule (Like for example the excellent and underrated version of "The Shining" directed by Stanley Kubrick or "Misery") but this animated short, without being a masterpiece, was quite well made, combining in an appropriate manner the horror and the comedy.

It had a pretty decent animation and designs, and it also had an excellent narration, which gives a sarcastic and darkly humorous perspective to the macabre events that take place in this story.

While this is not the best adaption of one written work by Stephen King, at least it was something original and interesting.

Amazing short film
magnetikl28 August 2008
I saw this short film on full 35mm at "Festival De Cine De Viña del Mar 2006", in Chile, it was an amazing experience to enjoy this top of the line piece with my film making school partners, it was a lot of buzz about this one inside our group.

The technique and beauty is amazing, was that kind of material which i was looking for some time, the ghoul kinda aesthetic with those greens and purples makes an exquisite experience and eye candy.

it has a weird kind of dark comedy on it but always with an "candy in the mouth" feel, i mean, all those exquisite compositions and colors can drive you insane in a good and enjoyable way.

I haven't read Stephen King's short story, but i think this adaptation just fit the bill.

10 points.
