• Continuity: The first time Norbit is waiting for the mailman, the mailman has a large red envelope mixed in with the letters. In the next shot, there is no red envelope.
  
  
• Continuity: Norbit's glasses change position when the dog is talking to him.

• Revealing mistakes: When Rasputia is driving on the lawn with Norbit, trying to run over the dog, there are tire marks in front of the car.

• Miscellaneous: Norbit calls the dog "Lloyd" but the credits list his name as "Floyd".
  
  
• Continuity: When Rasputia is driving in search for Norbit, she finds him in church, seeing him through the open doors kissing Kate. However, when Kate leaves church we see the doors fully closed.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Norbit's father claims to be Chinese; however, when speaking English he talks with a Japanese accent.
