Liam Hemsworth Gives Miley Cyrus a Personalized Necklace for Her Birthday: ‘Killin the Game Already’
It may be Thanksgiving, but it’s arguably an equally important holiday – Miley Cyrus’ 25th birthday! The “Malibu” singer was eager to celebrate her milestone on social media and got a very special present from her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth.
“Always have been & Always will be #ExtraAF Happy B-day to me you grumpy f**ks!” The Voice coach captioned a mirror selfie. In the pic, Cyrus is wearing a sweater that reads “Wild Child,” a black and white hat, and a black skirt with beaded embellishments making out a bouquet of flowers.
Cyrus also posed with giant silver balloons that spelled out her name, writing, “So close to b-day time! Stoked for a day full of Tofurkey & loved ones! Ain't it ironic? #VeganTurkeyBaby.”
But she was clearly most excited by the first of her gifts from her man, Hemsworth.
“My mannnnnn's already winnin & it ain't even my bday yet! Rainbow LiLi is soooo frigggggen cute!” she wrote on Wednesday...

Happy early birthday, Miley Cyrus!
Before she turns 25 on Nov. 23, the singer celebrated her big day with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, who surprised her with a custom gold necklace that revealed the nickname that she adoringly calls the actor.
“My man killin the game already! This is just pressie #1! Thank you LiLi! @LiamHemsworth,” Cyrus captioned a photo of a multi-colored jeweled pendant that read ‘lili’ in cursive font on a thin gold chain. (Liam’s nickname is very similar to the portmanteau the couple gave themselves back in August 2016: LiLey.)

Every so often, we take a second to reflect on our celebrity crushes of yore, from boy band members to cute TV actors, and wonder: what the hell happened to them? An adorable heartthrob named Jonathan Taylor Thomas (affectionately known as Jtt) had a heyday in the '90s, taking over the covers of teenybopper magazines and making us swoon each week as Randy Taylor on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement. Between 1991 and 1999, Jtt's cute little face and floppy middle-parted hair was also featured in big-screen classics like Man of the House, Tom and Huck, Wild America, and I'll Be Home For Christmas, and he also lent his voice to Disney's The Lion King as young Simba. After a smooth run of success, Jonathan Taylor Thomas seemingly disappeared. Poof! In 2013, Jonathan opened up about his decision to leave the spotlight, telling People that he had "been going nonstop since I was 8 years old,...

After Kesha dropped her heartbreaking and high-profile sexual assault lawsuit against Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald back in August, the pop star returned to her hometown of Nashville for some much-needed privacy. With the exception of an interview with The New York Times in October and the announcement of a potential tour, fans of the "True Colors" singer have been itching for an update. The 29-year-old, a high school dropout who signed a record deal at just 18, is finally back in our lives thanks to the second episode of Viceland's music show Noisey. Kesha gives host Zach Goldbaum a tour of her favorite dive bar in Nashville and opens up about what she's been through "mentally" since the lawsuit. "When you work really hard at something, then to have it taken away from you is pretty devastating," she says, choked up. "I worked my ass off for a lot of years...

Azealia Banks launched a disgusting homophobic and racist rant at Zayn Malik on Wednesday morning (May 11).
Things began when Azealia shared a comparative snap on Twitter of her Yung Rapunxel video and Zayn's newly released Like I Would video, accusing the former One Direction star of copying her concept.
"Damn Zayn be mood boarding the s**t out of me… I'm not mad about this though. Zayn is a cutie pie," she wrote alongside the picture.
Zayn chose not to respond directly to Azealia, but tweeted: "No lies… I see you reaching but I don’t care." He followed that with: "My @s too good for you."

The wrestling business is a big man’s game. Always has been. Always will be. Smaller wrestlers come and go, but wrestling promoters like Vince McMahon are always looking for the next great big guy to be the “face” of a wrestling company. Why do you think guys like The Undertaker, Big Show, Brock Lesnar and others were top guys so quickly? They’re big.
As we have seen many times in WWE history, being big isn’t all that matters. There have been plenty of great WWE/World Champions that have been on the smaller side and that’s what we’re here to look at today.
When looking at all of these smaller wrestlers, there is something in common for nearly all of them. Almost all of them had to put in several years of consistently great work before they made it to the top of the company.

I’m just going to get this out of the way from the off: I love Nicolas Cage. Always have. Always will. There is nothing anyone can do or say (and believe me, many have tried) to sway my opinion on an actor I’ve come to worship as a kind of bug-eyed demi-God. He’s a force of nature, a man capable of just about anything when given freedom to riff - with consequences ranging from the magnificent to the disastrous. A former icon whose recent career has left much to be desired, Joe is being touted as Cage’s return to form – and I’m delighted to say that he’s absolutely brilliant, although not in the way you might think.
This isn’t the kind of barn-storming, rage-Cage performance previously unleashed by the likes of Herzog and Woo. In fact, it’s a turn that could almost be considered grounded.

“Hey honey, look, Breaking Bad is in this,” says every single person who walks passed this movie on store shelves or at Redbox. Breaking Bad, of course, refers to Bryan Cranston. He’s Breaking Bad. Always will be. Even when he fights Godzilla, it’s going to be “Hey honey, let’s go see Godzilla, Breaking Bad is in it. It’s gotta’ be good.”
Topo (played by Cranston) is a career criminal who happens to be close to blind. He stumbles upon Chloe, played by Alice Eve, who I think is an actress that just barely made the cut when it comes to looks. A lot of it has to do with her being in her underwear in Star Trek Into Darkness, for sure, but she’s very toothy and has a well-worn look about her. That’s a thing.

This round-table interview was tons of fun. I got a minute to share a table with Andrew Garfield, Spider-Man and Marc Webb, director of Spider-Man and a gentleman I am very much in favor of.
Why do you like Marc Webb so much, Da7e? Good question, reader. He was my first one-on-one interview ever for this site during his (500) Days of Summer press tour. We shared a container of blueberries and even though our site has changed hands a few times since then, The Way-Way Back Machine has archived the discussion I had with web about music video reality, back in 2009.
I wasn't given access to Webb during The Amazing Spider-Man, which was probably for the best as I was chasing another story about the interactions between Columbia and Webb concerning lots of stuff that I couldn't care about less now that Webb gets his Spider-Man trilogy with Andrew Garfield.

It’s already in writing, Miley. The ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer defended Justin Bieber on Sept. 24, after receiving backlash for dissing him in her ‘Rolling Stone’ interview.
When Miley Cyrus did her first cover spread for Rolling Stone magazine and was asked about Justin Bieber‘s behavior, she simply said that he needs to grow up — and keep his shirt on (you know, while she was doing a topless cover).
Miley Cyrus: I’ll Stand By Justin Bieber
Her comments caused quite the backlash, and Beliebers were lashing out. So, she had to let everyone know she was still Team Justin.
Miley took to twitter to defend the statement, writing “Always have Always will root for @justinbieber he always has and Always will be the sh-t. #onlylamestwistwords”
Of course, Justin retweeted it, then added “@MileyCyrus all good. I know what it is. We keep it interesting.”
Well look at them being all chummy!

I ♥ celebrities. Always have. Always will. Even when I find them insufferable I have to stargaze. Having met so many of them now I'm fully aware that they are only people just like you and me that but for one lucky break or important connection or family wealth or extraordinary quirk of DNA or once-in-a-lifetime talent or deals with Beelzebub or being in the right place at the right time or any number of reasons, they'd be on this side of the 'net obsessing on celebrities just like you and I. Well, actually in the age of twitter, the lines are ever blurring and who is on what side anyway. Everyone loves celebrity. Even celebrities. Here's a sampling of some celebrity or celebrity-adjacent tweets I enjoyed from this year's very memorable Golden Globes.

Now hear this: I love Madonna. Always will. And that’s why I’m completely sensitive to her infuriating moments.
Recently, audio circulated of Madonna preparing for her new tour. In a short clip, she sings Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” as a mashup with her own, similar-sounding “Express Yourself,” as well as the pointed track “She’s Not Me.” Yes, it’s a cute and witty barb, one that’s meant as a gentle affront to Madonna’s heiress apparent Gaga, but I’m not laughing. I’m not exactly weeping either, but I’m more annoyed than titillated. It's just... not that funny? Or rather, too on the nose, petty, and not funny. For me, it’s of a piece with Madonna’s post-2005 career, a stretch where too much of her output and decision-making feels like the work of a canny assistant, someone who knows...

Xiu Xiu: avant-garde provocateurs of the last ten years. Jamie Stewart’s brainchild. Eight studio albums, ‘Always’ being the eighth. Every release has been as diverse and as absorbing to the level that it’s now got to a point where you can’t possibly tell what the next Xiu Xiu album is going to sound like. Is this a good thing, you ask? Well, I’ll leave that for you to decide, but any band that can alter and shape their sound in a way that’s almost unrecognisable from their other material can only be seen as a good thing, in my eyes (mind). It shows that the band’s striving to eke out every drop of creativity they have, and also, it kind of shows that they actually don’t care whether or not if listeners like the stuff; they’ve got it out there,...

The 18-year-old actor who stars as Kevin Katchadourian in the film adaptation of Lionel Shriver's novel We Need to Talk About Kevin
Who is he?
An 18-year-old actor who stars as Kevin Katchadourian, the kid who commits a high school massacre in Lynne Ramsay's adaptation of the Lionel Shriver bestseller We Need to Talk About Kevin. One magazine excitably crowned him indie film's "king of adolescent pain". He's got form, you see.
What, he's a juvenile delinquent?
No. But he has played a fair few outsiders and dark hearts – beginning with a porn-addict loner in 2008's Afterschool. Miller went after the part of Kevin like a "rabid animal"; it took him two years and six auditions. Screen mum Tilda Swinton says he arrived possessed of insight beyond his years. Not surprising, as he made his professional debut aged eight.
As a murderous ankle-biter?
No. It was more highbrow than that.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of my favorite films of all time. I can watch it over and over again and never get bored with it. It's one of the best action adventure films ever made, and I don't think any of you can argue with that unless you just don't have good taste in movies.
Screenwriter Damon Lindelof, who has worked on such projects as Lost, Star Trek, and the upcoming Prometheus sci-fi film, has written a fantastically entertaining love letter to the classic Steven Spielberg and George Lucas Film. The letter was written for an upcoming 30th celebration anniversary screening of the film, which he calls the film "exquisitely perfect."
Read the letter below, and share your own thoughts on Raiders of the Lost Ark! Enjoy!

You are awesome. God, you are awesome.

Betty White, who graces the cover of this week’s Parade magazine, expresses her support for marriage equality, saying of the opponents, “I don’t know how people can get so anti-something.”Just Jared reports on what the 88-year-old Golden Girls star had to say about the subject.“I don’t care who anybody sleeps with,” said White. “If a couple has been together all that time — and there are gay relationships that are more solid than some heterosexual ones — I think it’s fine if they want to get married. I don’t know how people can get so anti-something. Mind your own business, take care of your affairs, and don’t worry about other people so much.”White also spoke about the sense of humor and love of animals her parents instilled in her, and her healthy interest in men, which makes her a cougar by necessity at her age.
