good characters

This is a small Spanish film. It's about an exploration of the suffocating world of a small family during a dinner. Perhaps too many things happen in one night, but there is something in the film with reminiscent of a French film Rohmer or Agnes Jaoui that make "Faltas Leves" an interesting movie. It seems a theater play but it has a very good script and good characters. Nuria Gago is a young actress with a lot of talent. Perhaps, the style of the film is near a TV movie style, but the script and the actors make their job. The seven characters of "Faltas Leves" feel extraterrestrials with themselves and with the viewer, it takes even to establish his own kin and affinities. An assumption of bluff and devised by the filmmakers that sometimes is ballast narrative and other license to reflect a successful small problems of large middle-class high courageously chosen. Of course, theatricals tics and locations (or continents) common but no shortage, strangely or not, the balance is tilted toward the good rather than the ugly. A good small picture.
