BANG was really my first feature film and for an independent film with no known stars it was not expected to do that well...The average DVD and video sales for films with unknowns is approximately 5,000 units or less. BANG, to date, has sold approximately 27,000 units totaling approximately $50,000. The budget was originally around $9 to $10,000. It took approximately 14 days(7 weekends) to film and 5 days to edit. We get a lot of emails from time to time praising the film and also it's sound track, which is available on amazon.com. The closing credit song was featured on the, now canceled, TV series the BIG EASY, which ran on the USA Network sometime around 1998. Other songs from the film were being considered for use as well, but then the show got canceled.
In 2009 we will be re-releasing the film on DVD and it will include: The Movie and special features(making of, out takes and factoids), The Movie with audio commentary, The soundtrack and a few movie cards.
Like with any film, you either like BANG or you don't. And to those of you who have purchased it and seen it(even those who claim to not like it) We here at JeTi FILMS thank you for checking it out.
