Warning: Spoilers
This story concerns a bi-sexual female psychoanalyst - Malena - and the subsequent events after she accidentally kills a man who turns out to be a wife-beating policeman. The man was beating up a prostitute when Malena hits him with a crowbar and accidentally kills him.

She and the prostitute hide his body. I have no idea why - they could simply have left him there and walked away.

Malena - for some inexplicable reason - makes friends with his wife - another bi-sexual woman - and meets his friend and colleague, Carlos, who, of course, falls for her. She doesn't seem to mind that he snorts coke every five minutes. The plot is slow to the point of stagnation, punctuated by totally pointless shots of tango dancing. Very late in the day it introduces a drug deal worth millions that the dead cop had stolen.

Carlos takes Malena to crime scenes with him - she also turns up at a meeting he had with a criminal looking for the cash. The dead guy had left the bag of loot in his office and Carlos got hold of it and handed it to Malena to look after.

The original prostitute turns up at the end looking for a share of the cash. I think we were supposed to believe that it was a woman in the beginning- it was very obviously a guy. No matter - Malena hits him over the head with a statue of Sigmund Freud and kills him. Then she and Carlos buy a boat and take off on their own personal odyssey. The End. So as long as you tick the pc boxes it's ok to get away with murder. They certainly did with this movie.
