Actress Flora Martínez has sued director Harold Trompetero saying that this movie was made for the purpose of an experimental film and that Trompetero wants to take advantage of the commercial success of Rosario Tijeras (2005). This is the main reason for it to haven't been released anywhere around the world, but it was showed in the Bogota Film Festival in October 2005, in the Cartagena Film Festival in March 2006 and in La Palma Island International Film Festival in July 2006, where it won several awards.
In the fifth edition of La Palma Island International Film Festival it won awards in the main categories: Star to Film: Harold Trompetero. Director's Award: Harold Trompetero. Star to Editing: Jorge H. Vallejo. It also received a Jury's Special Mention to the actress Flora Martínez.
