- Some scenes of men changing in a locker room a young girl is present but she is blindfolded so she doesn't see anything.
- One football player has a pair of lucky underwear he wears for every game.
- Joe is asked to be in Peyton's dance recital and is asked to wear a form fitting unitard his teammates jokingly taunt him for wearing it.
- Women wear party dresses with low necklines and short skirts in some scenes.
- While Peyton is pressing buttons on a remote a fire place comes on and a romantic song starts playing.
- Ballet teacher shows cleavage and nipple marks while in tutus

- In one scene, the main character punches a camera man.
- Joe has an allergic reaction to Peyton's cookies which makes his tounge swell and caused him to speak with a lisp. The scene is played out in a humorous way however.
- One of the football players gets defensive when Peyton gets too close to his lucky pants and she is frightened by his deep voice and tough appearance however he's revealed to be the "gentle giant" type and befriends her.
- Joe nicks himself with a nose hair trimmer.
- Peyton has a severe allergic reaction to a desert with nuts in it. It is a very distressing scene to watch especially for those who have food allergies.
- Joe suffers a shoulder injury during a game.

- Joe gets hurt during a football game and is shown to be in severe pain.
- The scene where Peyton leaves is very sad.
- Peyton and Joe get into an argument where they raise their voices at eachother
- After adding too much bubble bath the bathroom is filled with soap suds Joe is panicking because he can't find Peyton who was in another room.
- Peyton has an allergic reaction to nuts, she turns pale, has shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), her lips swell and she is sweaty; her father, Joe, runs her (on foot) to a hospital and she is OK. It is however a very distressing scene to watch especially for those who have food allergies.
