When Irene Dalton learns that her uncle Henry Murdock is returning from his cruise, husband Earle decides to make the house more familiar to the old man. He's already got a parrot, so all that's left to do is to put everything on rockers connected to ropes so they can tip everything over, instruct the servants to wear sailor's outfits and dance the hornpipe continually.
