Despite Pedro Alpiarça's character not being assigned a name and always being referred to as "Alentejano," in the pilot episode, the character Betinha, wife of the Alentejano, calls him Acácio. Obviously, this was a mistake since Acácio was the character played by actor Octávio de Matos, who had been present since episode 1 as well. After that, the Alentejano was never referred to as Acácio again.
Cristina Oliveira, despite switching characters midway through the season 1 to season 2 from a snobby woman from Cascais named "Ju" to a comedic fishmonger named "Dona Rosa," continued to be credited as "Tia" in the credits during Season 2.
The actresses Carla Andrino, Cristina Oliveira, and Joana Figueira, despite having character names, were always credited as "Tia" in the final credits of the episodes of Season 1 and Season 2.
Carla Andrino was credited during all season 2 but never appeared on a single episode.
It generated a spin-off series called "Vasquinho e Companhia" having only a kids cast.
