Hugo Womack is the new tenant in office 201, he who no one on the first floor, including Suzanne, has yet met. What they don't know about him is that he rented the office solely to have access to the building in the mission to kill Stuart before he, the key witness, testifies at the trial of one of Womack's racketeer associates. While he will not be the one to pull the trigger, Womack hires field man Vernon Fletcher, who will in turn hire the team to do the job. Who Fletcher hires is the husband/wife team of Bob and Shirley Bent. While Bob is the expert shot, Shirley, who will act as the lookout and getaway driver, is the brains, she the only one who can control volatile (especially in his jealousy for anyone who even looks at Shirley) and alcoholic Bob. Womack's sole act in the actual hit is to let Bob, Shirley and if the plan entails Vern into the building late at night so that they can ambush Stuart as soon as he enters first thing in the morning. The combination of Womack, Fletcher and the Bents is a volatile mix which could factor into what happens. Also throwing a possible wrench into the plan is the fact that Roscoe knows of a Hugo Womack - this being one and the same - who wouldn't have any reason to rent an office unless it was a front for an illegal bookie operation.
