Brandon de Wilde made a big splash on Broadway and in films in the early 50's, going from "Come Back Little Sheba" on Broadway to the film version and then starring opposite Alan Ladd and Jean Arthur in "Shane". It's obvious with a cute little kid like that, eventually be cast in a TV show, and this obviously seems like a pilot for a possible sitcom. Jamie is a kid without parents, going from relative to relative, including a cousin and an aunt. Lighthearted fun, possibly an early "Dennis the Menace"/"Leave It to Beaver" like show, that didn't go anywhere Beyond being part of the TV Anthology series. Eva Marie Saint, prior to her fame in "On the Waterfront", is one of the relatives, with Ernest Truex and Polly Rowles in fine support. But as W. C. Fields always warned, never share scenes with kids or animals, or in the case of Truex, adorable old people. Light-hearted TV anthology giving a nostalgic look at the innocence of childhood and how wide eyed innocence can really rub off on the adults.
