  Sydney Bristow : There are so many issues with this I don't know where to be...

  Michael Vaughn : Now, hold on a second I think we should have an open mind about this.

  Sydney Bristow : An open mind?

  Michael Vaughn : It'd be rude to overlook such a generous offer without proper consideration.

  Sydney Bristow : I wouldn't dream of it.

  Michael Vaughn : Okay...

  Sydney Bristow : But there are clearly issues...

  Michael Vaughn : Yes, I don't disagree.

  Sydney Bristow : Okay.

  [Sydney smiles at Vaughn] 

• Sydney Bristow : How long have you known about this?

  Jack Bristow : I didn't tell you because it didn't concern you!

  Sydney Bristow : If the Alliance thinks you're lying to them, they'll kill you. That concerns me!

  Jack Bristow : What concerns me is having them suspect that you're my accomplice. That's why I kept you out of it.

• Michael Vaughn : Involving you had no upside.

  Sydney Bristow : There's no upside to keeping me informed? You didn't tell me about Manolo or that you had discussions with my mother! You didn't even tell me that you were seeing Alice again!

  Michael Vaughn : He told me about your father, he didn't mention anything about our *date* if that's what you mean.

  Sydney Bristow : Have you written your mission debrief?

  Michael Vaughn : No, not yet.

  [He pauses] 

  Michael Vaughn : If I tell the truth, at the least they'll remove me as your case officer. But despite what we did, how stupid we were, I know that we do good work. We need to stay together.

  Sydney Bristow : I agree.

  [she pauses] 

  Sydney Bristow : We do good work.

  [She pulls out the Gyroscope and gives it to Vaughn] 

  Michael Vaughn : I don't understand...

  Sydney Bristow : When I got back to SD-6 and saw my father, it was clear no one would be asking questions about Kane's missing agents. So I gave Sloane the counterfeit gyroscope. This is the real one.

  [She pauses] 

  Sydney Bristow : We win.

  Michael Vaughn : At the airport, you took them both...

  Sydney Bristow : Always be prepared.

  Michael Vaughn : [Over Coms]  Look, I'm going to turn you off now, goodbye!

• Sydney Bristow : There are so many things I hate about Arvin Sloane. But the thing that I hate the most is the way he wraps his criminal activity in the flag.
