[Vaughn rolls his eyes again]
Eric Weiss : Darkness!

[Sydney and Vaughn reply in French]

[the waiter places a room key on top of their table]
Claude Rousseau : Take your time.
[Vaughn and Sydney look at the key and then each other suspiciously]
Michael Vaughn : [Sydney and Vaughn lean over the table towards each other] Did you ask him to do that?

Sydney Bristow : There are so many issues with this I don't know where to be...
Michael Vaughn : Now, hold on a second I think we should have an open mind about this.
Sydney Bristow : An open mind?
Michael Vaughn : It'd be rude to overlook such a generous offer without proper consideration.
Sydney Bristow : I wouldn't dream of it.

[They stare into each other's eyes]
Sydney Bristow : Okay.
[Sydney smiles at Vaughn]

Sydney Bristow : There's no upside to keeping me informed? You didn't tell me about Manolo or that you had discussions with my mother! You didn't even tell me that you were seeing Alice again!
Michael Vaughn : Wait. What is this about?

Sydney Bristow : [Sydney and Vaughn are in the restaurant together and they have a very long awkward silence] I think wine would help the situation.
Michael Vaughn : I was just thinking the same thing.

Michael Vaughn : He told me about your father, he didn't mention anything about our *date* if that's what you mean.
Sydney Bristow : Have you written your mission debrief?
Michael Vaughn : No, not yet.
[He pauses]
Michael Vaughn : If I tell the truth, at the least they'll remove me as your case officer. But despite what we did, how stupid we were, I know that we do good work. We need to stay together.

[she pauses]
Sydney Bristow : We do good work.
[She pulls out the Gyroscope and gives it to Vaughn]
Michael Vaughn : I don't understand...
Sydney Bristow : When I got back to SD-6 and saw my father, it was clear no one would be asking questions about Kane's missing agents. So I gave Sloane the counterfeit gyroscope. This is the real one.
[She pauses]
Sydney Bristow : We win.
Michael Vaughn : At the airport, you took them both...
Sydney Bristow : Always be prepared.

Eric Weiss : [Over coms to Vaughn only, Vaughn signals to his ear for Sydney] This story is a disaster! Just tell her she's pretty. Are you an idiot?
Michael Vaughn : [Over Coms] Look, I'm going to turn you off now, goodbye!
[Vaughn removes his earpiece]
Michael Vaughn : Sorry!
