Michael Vaughn : [On the phone with Sydney] Just don't spend too much time sightseeing in Cuba.
Sydney Bristow : Oh don't worry; I'm ready to get out of here. Do you have any idea how hard it is to maintain cover while dancing the salsa in three inch heels?
Michael Vaughn : Yes, actually I do, but let's keep that between us.
Sydney Bristow : You're doing the next Intel swap. I don't care what the parameters are.
Michael Vaughn : Whew, nothing would make me happier, I love dancing.
Sydney Bristow : You hate to dance.
Michael Vaughn : How do you know?
Sydney Bristow : I've never seen you dance.
Michael Vaughn : Well I'm a mysterious man, there's a lot of things you don't know about me.
Sydney Bristow : You've never once taken me dancing.
Michael Vaughn : Okay, let's go dancing.
Sydney Bristow : Really?
Michael Vaughn : Yeah, sure.
Sydney Bristow : But you hate dancing.
Michael Vaughn : And yet, I'm taking you. Like I said, I'm very mysterious.
-
Sydney Bristow : You guys have to come get me.
Michael Vaughn : Sydney, the hard drives been rigged, it released some kind of a toxin in here. We're in lock-down.
Sydney Bristow : Lock-down; for how long?
Arvin Sloane : We estimate about 36 hours.
Sydney Bristow : What are our other options?
[There is a long pause as Jack and Vaughn look down]
Marshall Flinkman : Umm... excuse me, listen I know you told me you'd let me know if you need anything. But I could do it. I could go to Cuba.
-
Michael Vaughn : Syd, slow down, say that again.
Sydney Bristow : We can ID him.
Michael Vaughn : Who?
Sydney Bristow : Phantom; my contact. I can send you a picture. You can check it against airport surveillance, inbound flights to Cuba. He wasn't alone. Get visuals of the other members of third faction. And track that against where they've been and... and where they're going.
Jack Bristow : Send the photo
[Sydney takes a picture of the corpse with her cell phone]
Michael Vaughn : Okay Syd, we've got it. We're indexing it now.
Sydney Bristow : Vaughn...
Michael Vaughn : Yeah, I'm here can you hear me?
Sydney Bristow : We know what he looks like.
Michael Vaughn : [Vaughn looks at Jack scared] Syd, we got the picture, we're working on him.
Sydney Bristow : We can check it against airport surveillance.
Michael Vaughn : Syd, you already said that.
Sydney Bristow : He wasn't alone, we can find where he's been, where's he's going.
[Vaughn and Jack share a concerned look, Jack walks off]
-
Sydney Bristow : Don't hook up the hard drive.
Michael Vaughn : We know; where are you?
Michael Vaughn : I'm not sure, they... they dragged me to a cemetery, knocked me out, and I woke up in a coffin.
Marshall Flinkman : Syd, are you... have you been buried?
Sydney Bristow : Yes
-
Michael Vaughn : [Vaughn takes a moment to compose himself to get ready to talk to Sydney, you can see how concerned he is] Syd, Marshall's on his way, we'll be dancing before you know it.
Sydney Bristow : Can my feet touch the ground?
Michael Vaughn : What was that?
Sydney Bristow : Vaughn...
[Looks at phone, it says week signal]
Sydney Bristow : My phone is dying... Vaughn?
-
Sydney Bristow : Vaughn... Vaughn...
[Looks at phone, it says Good-bye. Screen goes black. Sydney begins to cry]
-
Marshall Flinkman : [Marshall has to infiltrate a German nightclub; he is communicating with Sydney with an earpiece] Okay, I'm in. Now what do I do?
Sydney Bristow : What do you see?
Marshall Flinkman : Well, a lot of people who are into spanking, apparently.
[a random woman grabs him and kisses him]
Marshall Flinkman : Oh my god, I think I just got hepatitis.
-
Marshall Flinkman : Syd, this guy buried you alive.
Sydney Bristow : Yeah, but he cheated, he hit me with a car first!
-
Sydney Bristow : Well you could tell her the truth. That you had to cut out a man's eyes to save the world.
Marshall Flinkman : Yeah, I can tell her that, probably be best just to keep that between us.
[laughs]
Marshall Flinkman : And I didn't save the world exactly, just Hong Kong.
Sydney Bristow : You saved me.
