A closed room murder mystery
Tweekums4 May 2018
With another system ready to join the new Commonwealth its president, his head of security and his chancellor come aboard Andromeda to sign the treaty. All is going fairly well until Tyr confronts the president, condemning him for his role in the deaths of a large number of Nietzscheans towards the end of his system's civil war. It is demanded that Tyr apologies; as they are in a room together there is there is a commotion... when the others enter the room the president is dead and Tyr is unconscious. There is a demand to hand Try over for local justice but Dylan is determined have a proper inquiry before having over a member of his crew.

This episode gave us an interesting mystery; while I'm sure few viewers will expect one of the regular cast to be guilty early evidence strongly points towards Tyr. The way we learn more about what happened the more intriguing the mystery becomes. When the culprit is exposed it isn't really a surprise but nor was it too obvious. The guest characters are interesting; they may be human but they come from a system where a significant portion of the populations are water-breathers thanks to genetic modification some time ago. Sadly we didn't see Trance Gemini in this episode; a shame as it would seem logical to have such a positive character around when dealing with guests who are sticklers for protocol. Overall though I found this to be a good episode.
